Wanted Poster

You may think of a wanted poster as something out of the Wild West, but they are still around. You can find them in the post office, and these are often some of the most wanted men in the country. Some of the crimes from back then are still around, but you may find that newer posters feature crimes not possible back when the west was yet to be tamed. A wanted poster isn’t just for the bad guys though, as they can be used for fun too.

You can get a wanted poster printed up for just about anything. You may want to add your child’s picture and reword the poster to advertise their birthday party or some special achievement. You might also want to use a wanted poster when you have a missing pet. It may not seem like a time to get creative with something that looks fun, it might be the best way to get people to look at your posters when they might otherwise just walk right by. You may have a better chance at having someone find your pet this way.

A wanted poster can be neat party gifts as well. You can have a digital camera ready, and snap a picture of each of your guests (or your child’s guests) as they arrive. You can then have someone working on each wanted poster as the party goes on, and then hand them out as everyone leaves. You can have the posters say just about anything you want, and you can find great templates for them online. This is a great way to make your event memorable and to give your guests a keepsake they will remember forever.

On a more serious note though, when you go to the post office, make sure you do take a look at each wanted poster you see there. The people on these posters are very dangerous, and they are often high on the most wanted list. Remember to never approach anyone you have that seen on a wanted poster, but to instead call the police as soon as it is safe for you to do so. You may get a reward out of it, just like in the Wild West, and even better; you will get a safer world to live in. Though there may never be a day when we don’t need these posters, wouldn’t it be nice to see fewer and fewer of them around?
