Aarp Term Life Insurance Plus Medicare Insurance
Today it makes money (or at least is frugal) to be a senior55 plus. When the AARP was formed by Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, a high school principla, in 1958, those over 55 are more powerful in America. The group is an offshoot of the National Retired Teachers Association (NRTA), which was created in 1947 to to show that seniors were not over the hill. After ten years, Dr. Andrus exapnded the outreach to all Americans more than 50 years old, creating AARP.
The AARP has a very large member base of over thirty five million people aged fifty years and older. This makes AARP an extremely large group with remarkable political clout when they have an opinion, Washington has little choice but to listen. America may be graying, but it is also gaining more power as it does.
One of the great benefits of the AARP is their Senior Insurance and Medicare health insurance. Prior to the AARP it was problematic finding insurance as you got older; these days it is guaranteed if you are an AARP, member.
AARP Life Insurance
For well over ten years, AARP has been offering whole and term life insurance policies to its member base in association with New York Life. The AARP life insurance program offers plans stressing premiums advertised as “inexpensive” that are specifically designed for those 50+.
Senior Insurance life insurance is provided to any [/spin]AARP member|member[/spin] that is fifty plus and not older than eighty. Spouses of AARP members may also receive coverage, as long as they are forty-five years of age or older.
AARP Medicare Insurance
The AARP provides a health insurance policy designed to supplement the what is provided by Medicare. This “Medicare Supplement Insurance” is provided in connection with United HealthCare Insurance Company.
AARP is one of America’s largest memberships and is one of its most politically powerful.
