I can’t believe that I was that late for work yesterday . I had to walk a few block out of my way when I saw they were doing a Driveway Cleaning. After what felt forever I made my way to the L stop so I could jump on the train to get to work, unfortunately it seemed as if everything was against me that day because the L ended up being a half hour late . So eventually when the train came, it was obviously packed to the brim with people who were all as ornary as I was so I stood right by the door pressed up against it, staring out the window at the Chicago skyline . I end up being a half-hour late to work and apologized to my boss, but he only shook his head at me. I sat down and tried to start my work, but I was still shaken up from the whole thing. I managed to do some of my work, but I was still twitchy and kept having to get up to go to the bathroom or the water fountain or just to walk around. My boss called me into his office to ask me what was wrong and to tell me to stop whatever it is because it was making everyone else uncomfortable. So of course for the rest of the day I felt uncomfortable.
